The Lennox line, sold by the people who'll be back to service it
Cook's is a Lennox dealer. The pages below are the line as we actually use it: which products fit a salt-air lot, which fit a drafty inland ranch, and why.

What a dealer relationship changes
Any contractor can order a Lennox unit. A dealer installs the line often enough to know it, trains on it at the factory level, and has a direct line for parts and support when something odd comes up five years later. That’s the relationship Cook’s has, and it’s why the first recommendation on a replacement is usually a Lennox model and why the technician who services it later will have seen that model before.
The pages below cover the line as it’s sold across the territory: air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, packaged and mini-split systems, boilers and garage heaters for the few houses that need them, geothermal, zoning, and the whole Healthy Climate indoor-air range. Two pages are about complete systems: the Ultimate Comfort System and the general complete-system page.
Matching equipment to the map
A product that’s right in Ormond Beach may be wrong in Live Oak. Coastal homes in St. Augustine and along the Flagler shore get condensers specified for salt, and we talk about where the unit sits on the lot before we talk about tonnage. Inland and northern markets, Gainesville, Lake City and Ocala, get a harder look at heating capacity and defrost behavior, because the heat pump will earn its keep on real freeze nights. Everywhere, humidity control is treated as part of cooling, not an add-on.
Brands we service but don’t lead with
Carrier, Bryant and Trane systems are repaired and maintained all week long, and a homeowner with one of them isn’t pushed to switch. When one of those systems reaches the end, the replacement conversation starts by measuring the house itself rather than glancing at the old unit’s label.
Warranty and registration
Lennox equipment carries manufacturer coverage that’s longer when registered promptly; Cook’s registers every install so the longer term applies. The company’s labor warranty on the installation is on the proposal. Specifics for each product line are confirmed with the office. [[CONFIRM WITH JERRY]]
Product questions
Can I buy equipment from Cook's and have someone else install it?
No. The equipment and the installation go together, because the warranty, the registration and the company’s guarantee all assume a Cook’s crew put it in.
Do you install anything other than Lennox?
Mostly Lennox, by choice. There are situations, a matched replacement for part of an existing system, say, where another brand makes sense, and we’ll say so rather than force a mismatch.
Which Lennox products matter most for a Florida house?
Dehumidification and filtration from the Healthy Climate line, variable-speed air handlers that run long and slow, and condensers with coil coatings for coastal lots. Heating capacity matters more in the inland and northern markets.
Is a mini-split a real option or a compromise?
A real option for a garage, an addition, a bonus room or a small older house without ductwork. For a whole house with ducts already in it, a conventional split system is usually the better buy.
